I found Mr. Swartz on the internet under 'real estate agents in Arizona'. I was looking for a real estate agent who was knowledgeable and knew the area and who could pinpoint what we were looking for quickly and informatively. Conducting business from state to state was a huge undertaking, but very doable with the right person with the right experience. In a very short time and a few conversations, we knew Mr. Swartz was capable and would do what was best and in our interest. Our realtor, Bruce Swartz came highly recommended from a close friend who happened to be our Loan Officer. We met Bruce one Sunday morning and he took us through the steps of buying a house, since this was our first home buying experience. He was very helpful and answered all our questions right away. Bruce was very knowledgeable and kept up to date with new real estate. After explaining the process, he made an appointment to see a house for sale.
After looking at the house, Bruce suggested we drive around and look for open houses. We drove 3 blocks and found an open house. This letter is to thank you for helping Dennis and I find our new home. I remember when I first met you three years ago at the DMV when you came in to renew your registration for your vehicle and we got into a conversation which lead into you telling me you were a real estate agent. At that time I was looking to purchase a home on my own with my two children. I was very pleased with the way that you explained to me step by step the process of purchasing a home. But when we went out looking for homes at the time the interest rates were high and the homes I would be able to afford were not to my liking at the time. I had talked to my boyfriend Dennis and he told me to wait and when the time was right we would buy a home together, so three years went by and the interest rates dropped and Dennis had decided to sell his house and start looking for a new home together. We thought that we would sell his house on our own. We put up a for sale sign by owner and had no luck. We even tried to sell his house to one of those We Buy Ugly Houses agents for $75,000. They acted as though we were a joke - they wanted us to just give the house away. We became discouraged and felt like we would never sell the house.
One night Dennis and I were getting ready for bed and he said “I wish I knew someone we could trust to help us” and then it came to me: Bruce Swartz. I remembered your phone number off the top of my head, I called you the next day and it was the beginning of the sale of the house. There was a lot of work to do to get the house ready but with your help it was done in no time. The house was sold in 28 days of putting it on the market and we even got more money than we had ever expected - $31,000 more. What Dennis liked most was that you were honest and everything you said you would do, you did. You did not make any empty promises or give false hope.
Then it was time to find a new home for the family. You made it very easy, steering us in the right direction for the mortgage loan. Michelle was great - a pleasure to work with. She also explained, step by step, the process of a home loan and worked very hard in finding the best interest rates. All in all, the sale and purchase of the two homes was a great experience. Thank you again for all your help. I would refer you to anyone about to sell or purchase a home and if I were to ever purchase again, you would be the first person I would call.
